This session moved through waves of pain-focused imagery (mouths screaming, eyes, eruptions) alongside anxiety about doing it “right,” remembering enough, and letting go of control. When the visuals narrowed into darkness or an infinite tunnel, I kept returning to safety and self-love- “I am loved, I love myself,” as a steadying mantra and a way to trust my brain to do the work. The arc felt like practicing surrender: exhaling through fear, releasing some images, and choosing gentleness toward whatever hurt was asking for comfort.

This session had a lot of imagery that flashed very quickly at the very start - creatures that looked scary but were in pain and wanted comfort, a body with an exploding head in the distance, and others. I wondered if it was a protector part getting upset at losing control.
