Making Contact
Ketamine Session 1

This was an incredible first session, starting with feeling of being one with the universe and everyone in it, then remembering I am a person with my own identity, and finally remembering that I have a body; touching grief, inner-child healing, and the physical weight of long-held stress. I wanted to remember everything because the visuals were stunning. 

IM Dose: 20mg  | Listened to: River sounds
Intention: None, just anxious to start and open to the experience. 

 Notes

I remember thinking "holy shit I'm doing this" right after the injection and "holy shit this visual is so crazy" multiple times during the trip. Then at the end it was more "omg I'm a person" and "oh my god my body is so tired" when I was coming back down. 

I wanted to get "right to work" and solve a particular grief event, but I saw a creature take the memory back into the darkness; we weren't ready to go there yet.

I learned here that my eye mask would be important because my eyes liked to flutter open throughout the trip.
