This session felt peaceful and grounding overall, with a strong sense of togetherness among my parts. A lot of the imagery centered on a lake/waterfall and a “what if” fear part that kept bringing up possible dangers, and I practiced meeting that fear with curiosity instead of fighting it. I left thinking about balance- between caution and impulsivity, safety and living.

It was fun to do a beach day with parts, but boy did I not know what to do with the scary fish. It just caused immense anxiety being in front of it. This fear was originally unlocked in Mario 64 where there are eels and fish that can eat you - something about being eaten and the large black mouth enveloping you causes me profound dread. Same with things waiting in holes to eat you. This is a struggle because I also love eels normally, and seek them out when I go into the ocean or an aquarium.
